Welcome to Walk with Ease!
Thanks for enrolling in the ISU Walk with Ease (WWE) program. We look forward to working with you to establish regular habits of physical activity.
The self-directed version of WWE is powered by an online portal that includes links to handouts, video/audio lessons and an array of self-monitoring tools. Each week you will receive email messages with a short video lesson and activity to help you learn the fundamentals of 'habit formation'. The focus is on building healthy habits for walking but the tips can be applied to other activities or behaviors. We encourage you to take the time to fully review the materials each week so you can learn and practice the behavioral skills needed to stay active over time.
Please note, the platform is used for both individual and 'hybrid' groups. If you are registering as an individual choose 'Self-Directed'. If you are with a Hybrid program, you should see the name of your group. Once you register, the platform will prompt you to complete a few questions before and after Walk with Ease so that we can evaluate the utility of the platform for enhancing Walk with Ease. The information entered into the platform is used for evaluation purposes by the WWE program leaders and your identity is not linked to your data.
